     Frequently  asked    Questions

What is the difference between a Cavoodle and a Groodle?

A Cavoodle is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel x Poodle, known for their gentle, affectionate nature and smaller size. A Groodle (Golden Retriever x Poodle) is larger, active, and incredibly family‑friendly. Both breeds are low‑shedding, intelligent, and make wonderful companions.

 Are Cavoodles and Groodles low‑shedding?

Yes — both breeds are typically low‑shedding thanks to their Poodle genetics. Coat types vary from wavy to curly, and regular grooming helps maintain a low‑allergen coat.

What size will my puppy grow to?

Size depends on the parents:

  • Cavoodles: usually 5–12 kg

  • Mini Groodles: around 12–20 kg

  • Medium Groodles: around 20–30 kg We can give you a more accurate estimate based on your puppy’s parents.

 What is their temperament like?

Both breeds are known for being:

  • Affectionate and people‑focused

  • Great with kids

  • Intelligent and easy to train

  • Social and gentle Cavoodles tend to be more cuddly and calm, while Groodles are often more energetic and playful.

 Are your puppies toilet trained?

Toilet training has begun before they leave. Puppies are taken outside regularly and are doing very well toileting on the grass, but full training is not yet complete. They’re already developing great habits that make the transition easier for their new family.

 What comes with my puppy?

Every puppy goes home with:

  • Vet health check

  • Vaccination

  • Microchip

  • Worming up to date

  • Puppy starter pack

  • Information on feeding, training, and settling in

  • Ongoing breeder support

How are the puppies raised?

Our puppies are raised in a loving home environment, not kennels. They are handled daily, exposed to household sounds, and socialised with children and other dogs. Early enrichment helps them grow into confident, well‑balanced companions.

When can I take my puppy home?

Puppies are ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age, once they have been vet‑checked, vaccinated, and microchipped.

 Do you offer ongoing support?

Absolutely. We’re here for you throughout your puppy’s life. Whether you need advice on training, grooming, feeding, or behaviour, we’re always happy to help.

How do I reserve a puppy?

You can secure a puppy with a deposit. We’re happy to help match you with the right pup based on your family’s lifestyle and preferences
